Subject: JBB @ The Handlebar
Looking for something to listen to on an airplane and.....WHAM!

First off. THANK YOU for uploading this show! Phenominal JBB show. IMO, they are the best reggae band on the planet and I am a heavy dub listener. Anyway, I live in Spartanburg, South Carolina and about passed out when I got the text that they were blessing G-ville. Then, I won tickets to see the show. <---stoked Took a friend of mine who had never heard of them and wasn't into reggae. He danced and was impressed.

Soon as they walked out I screamed, "Shadow" but the boys opened with a typical "Amerlierate" to get the blood flowing. "Invitation" seemed to get a few bodies swerving, then a goosebumper of a GYO. I needed that. Life has been tough. People were officially into the rhythem and God totally in control.

The Grass was very good, Wellington dub was smooth as silk. Empty Hands slowed things down a bit with it's heavy thought inducing trance.

Then I got my "Follow into Shadow". I live by these words. I cried. Tears of joy streamed down my undeserving face. I hid from my friend and focused on the music. This is powerful.

"Plantation" was effortless and the twist and turns were in the zone. The stops and starts were intense. I love this band.

Cup Dub was a tease into what was to be. Which happened to be a 15 minute "What you Gonna Do" into my new favorite JBB song, "The Gold". Closing with these two songs was on purpose. lol
I was talking with Elliott on facebook about a soundboard of this show. Not sure if he had anything to do with the upload but A+ sound quality, setlist.......Ridiculous. Also got my tshirt signed at the show. Didn't give a damn what anyone thought when I asked. Don't ever miss these guys.
